Sweet Tea

Want to cool off on a hot summer day? We have two words for you:

SWEET TEA!

And no one does it better than our friends from the South. Southern Sweet Tea is delicious! At Thompson & White Tea Company, our favorite sweet tea recipe comes from a true southern belle, Mom Thompson. Hope you like it as much as we do!

To make some of the best southern tea you will ever taste:

Bring 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Add 3 large family size tea bags to the boiled water. Remove from heat and cover. Let the tea steep for up to 15 minutes. When the tea is ready, pour it into a one gallon pitcher. Then add at least 1 cup of sugar. (or a bit more -remember this is isn't called sweet tea for nothing!) Stir the mixture. Fill up the rest of the pitcher with cold water and refrigerate.

ENJOY!
